PIONEER CABINS

The pioneer cabins are where it all began for Small Living. Le Vieux Quebec and Le Louisbourg were original to Hammond Hill before the Derecho storm. Unfortunately the trapper shack cabins did not survive the strong winds and fallen trees. Instead we introduced a new pine cabin we call The Trapper Shack.

These beautiful cabins give us a constant reminder of what Hammond Hill once was, they give us the determination and strength to move forward with our goals to bring back nature all around them .

Being only 80 sq ft these cabins are complete with a private deck, firepit and seating area; they offer a queen size bed in each, with an additional double bed in The Trapper Shack ( bunk beds). They offer glamping at its finest with no running water, no power supplied and not heated.

Being situated between the rows of tiny homes they are the perfect “bunkie” to anyone who wants to enjoy Hammond Hill as a large group, or they are very glamorous to be enjoyed as single units.
